Welcome to the OSCAR: :REBOL project. This group is free for anyone to join. All REBOLLERS are welcome.

Oscar stands for Open Source Code Aka Rebol.

The end goal of this is to create a free REBOL interpreter clone available under the GPL license as issued under the terms & conditons of the Free Software Foundation.

This site will be for discussing & developing code & documentation for implementing a REBOl intepreter.

Mark Dickson <Robbo1Mark@aol.com> will initially start & co-ordinate the process.

Our goals are that the project is a success and that we all learn much more about REBOL & computing in general. Learning the skills, techniques & knowledge of REBOL & language technology is important as well as providing high quality, useful free software.

Here's to successful work & enlightening discussions, and to Carl Sassenrath & the REBOL team for giving us such a worthy technology to learn & use.
