Description
The Olympus Digital SLR Astrophotography Group is dedicated to developing digital astrophotography techniques for the Olympus E-1, E-3, E5, E-30, EVOLT E-300, EVOLT E-330, EVOLT-410, E-420, E-450, EVOLT E-500, EVOLT-510, E-520, E-600, E-620 as well as future Four Thirds standard digital cameras such as the Panasonic DSLR. The Group will also discuss the technical details of the cameras and associated astrophotography equipment. We encourage the sharing of astrophotography and image processing techniques among Group members. We hope to foster the development of a community of astrophotographers who share an interest in using the Olympus E-1, E-3, E-5, E-30, E-300, E-330, E-410, E-420, E-450, E-500, E-510, E-520, E-600, and E-620 DSLRs for creating beautiful images. By the time you spend $2000+ on the EQ6 and 6" refractor, plus some tidy sum on software if you do not already have it, you can easily afford an E-300 on ebay.

I have only used the E-1, E-300 and E-330, not familiar with the 520. First bracket 1/30 at iso400, enlarge and examine the results. If not enough detail

Hello I am not sure what kind of results you are expecting. You may want to obtain a disc image of Jupiter with surface details or looking at small discs
