Description

The Olympus Digital SLR Astrophotography Group is dedicated to developing digital astrophotography techniques for the Olympus E-1, E-3, E5, E-30, EVOLT E-300, EVOLT E-330, EVOLT-410, E-420, E-450, EVOLT E-500, EVOLT-510, E-520, E-600, E-620 as well as future Four Thirds standard digital cameras such as the Panasonic DSLR. The Group will also discuss the technical details of the cameras and associated astrophotography equipment. We encourage the sharing of astrophotography and image processing techniques among Group members. We hope to foster the development of a community of astrophotographers who share an interest in using the Olympus E-1, E-3, E-5, E-30, E-300, E-330, E-410, E-420, E-450, E-500, E-510, E-520, E-600, and E-620 DSLRs for creating beautiful images. From what little I know, I think that the many short exposures are for planets only. But I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'short'. I consider a 3
