How to setup/initialise a virgin TS-209 from a Linux-PC?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1069 of 1088 |
QNAP delivers its TS without installed firmware. To set up the NAS the
fist time they supply 'QNAP-Finder' for Win$ and software for Mac.

Unfortunately I do not have any of those OS's here, only Linux-PC's.
Is there any way to perform the task on Linux?

I am thinking of doing it similar to uploading and booting FooNAS with
aid of a TFTP-server. A DHCP-server is already running on my DSL-router.

Best regards,
Ingo
