You should also be aware that .One.Laptop.Per.Child (OLPC) is working on
translating more than a hundred .applications for its Linux-based XO laptop
to Yoruba, Hausa, Fula/Fulfulde, and Igbo (see
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Localization and http://dev.laptop.org/translate),
and invites Nigerians and in fact anyone from any under-served
language-community to join together to create translations into other
languages. "Nigeria's official language is English along with Edo, Efik,
Adamawa Fulfulde, Hausa, Idoma, Igbo, Central Kanuri and Yoruba."
