Hi Dwayne, Issa, and all,
Please also continue to forward information about your diverse localization
activities to this list. All among us work in two different kinds of
communities at the same time:
1) focused on a technology or specific applications, but worldwide
2) on one or more African languages, with .Pan-African implications
This list serves the second group, which is diverse in terms of kinds of
localization.
Those of us who are not on the Mozilla and .Translate.Toolkit lists would be
interested in learning about your work in those areas. At least I would.
In any event, one thing that I have noticed in researching localization in
Africa, is that many people in one area (technical or geographic) have
little or no idea what is happening in other areas. As members of the group,
do you think that it is worth continuing to develop this forum as a way of
enhancing the flow of information?
