A sad loss for all of us. Prof. V. K. Samaranayake was pioneer in
localization in developing Asia and PAN Localization project partner in Sri
Lanka in the first phase, as the then director of University of Colombo
School of Computing. May his soul rest in peace and his family have
strength and patience to bear this loss.
We will all miss him dearly!

Abeyaratne of Kathaluwa expired in Sweden. The remains will lie at
929/21, Jayanthi Mawatha, Ethul Kotte from 6.00 p.m. on Monday 11th
until 9.00 a.m. on Wednesday and thereafter at the Professor V. K.
Samaranayake Auditorium, University of Colombo School of Computing
(UCSC) from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Cremation will take place
thereafter at the General Cemetery, Kanatta at 5.00 p.m. No flowers by
request.
