And there's always UUEncoding. Anyone that know how to handle that probably
won't get burned by a virus or trojan or worm :o)
If you've gotten the images out of books, here's what I'd do if I were you:
I'd go to Amazon.com and see if the books are for sale. If they are then I'd put
up an 'affiliation' link to that book on Amazon where ever the image appears on
your site (no reason you can't make some money for yourself). Write the
publisher
of the book explaining the way you are using the photo or image and how you have
links directly into their book sales. I can't imagine an artist in the world who
wouldn't love the extra advertising. Besides, this way you can make some money
too:)

If you are using pics from PREVIOUS Palace owner's... you should ask them,
too!
Got this on my Scouts list and thought that I would forward it. I looked
into it by my local area and it said a wierd pre-fix that I didnt recognise
so I called the phone co and they said it is a local call.
Interesting......

Last night I tried out a FREE Internet Service Provider that works
very well. They have over thousands of phone numbers all over the
USA that you can use to connect. They also give you a FREE E-mail
account. The FREE service works just like your current ISP only
at no monthly cost to you. Advertisers pay for it all.
I used it for about four hours last night and it was a faster
56K connection than what I already had. All you have to do is
download their connection software and install it on your PC.
You can use either Netscape of MS Explorer as you regular browser
and still use your old E-mail software too. So you don't have to
change what you currently use.
The service name is "NetZero".
You can find them at: http://www.netzero.com
You can check out their dialup access numbers by state at:
http://www.netzero.com/customer/access.html
Check it to see if there are local numbers for you to use. I found
two local phone numbers for my town, compared to having only one
from my old service. Now I can save $19.95 a month and use that
money for something else. :-)

Well, Iam NOT a lawyer, I am a Fairy :-) But I *think* if you contact the
artist and ask permission it should be ok. and... maybe make the
signature link to their web page???

Nostalgia isnt what it used to be.
Barbara..
Try replying to this. I have no attachments set on this and if you are
trying to reply with an attachment or send a vcard, it wont go through.
To the rest-
With all the accidental virus senders out there.. I dont want any
chances taken with the people on this list so I have attachments not
allowed here.
There is a area attached to this page to put files you want to share.. but
I ask that you keep them small if at all possible. But there is a group
file area to share.. check it out at the one list addy.
*NOTE* Do not put hacks or cracks there.. I will remove them along with
the person that posted them.. this DOES include the so called ad killer
program for Palace!

Yep.. to those of you that were just on the PUG list and not on the PCG
list, I sent you a invitation to join. You need to respond to that letter via
the instructions in the letter. If you allready deleted it.. then you can
send a blank e-mail to http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/PCGF and it
will send you a confirmation letter.

Well, for those of you that were on PCG list. (PCGF@...), this is
a move and merger. I decided that a list with 250 subscribers
generating the traffic that this one can generate would cause alot of
bandwidth usage on the KSV server so I moved the list at the same
time. We will close the PCGF list on the ksv server soon so please
direct your mail to pcgf@onelist.com
I would like to also add that there is a palace graphics list on the onelist
server. You can join that one by sending a blank mail to
http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/Palace-Graphics
