The Portage Computer Users Group meets at the Portage District Library each Thursday, 10am 'til noon. The group discusses all aspects of computer use including digital cameras, scanners, internet, research, genealogy, printing, email, and any other topic the group chooses. Portage, Michigan is located just south of the city of Kalamazoo.

Streaming videos are usually available by Thursday afternoon. DVD's of the meeting are available at the next meeting for $1. (or will ship at cost.)

Folks and Fran, It is never a good idea to have two anti-virus products running at the same time. You want to make sure that AVG is really not running and

Rob, I am unable to uninstall my 7.5 AVG. I went to the control panel and went through the procedure and it reports an error and failure to uninstall.Â

Rob: We just moved back from Charlotte, NC, but I have been following your emails. We are using the old AVG version on this old computer and it is working okay
