Folks,
Thanks to all 21 who joined us last week.
I started with a website I have wanted to talk about for a while:
http://www.willitblend.com/
It is very much a site to advertise blenders, but I enjoy their choice of
items to blend. Here is where they blend an iPhone:

Most of our time was spent talking about eBay.com and PayPal.
PayPal is a way to isolate your financial information from the folks you
deal with in the auction process.
eBay is a good service, but there is opportunity for abuse. And there is
the tendency in an on-line auction to over-bid. But that is true for local
auctions as well. My advice is go slow, get to know the service and how it
operates before you commit significant time and/or money.
The club will not meet on the 19th due to scheduling conflicts at the
library.
I haven't checked with Ralph, but I am sure he would welcome your attendance
at the computer club at the Portage Senior Center on Tuesday, the 17th at
8:45 am if you are in need of a computer club fix (grin). I am a regular
and would be pleased to see you there.
The next PCUG meeting will be on the 26th. We are scheduled to be in the
Austin Lake Room. I hope you can join us.
Cheers,
Rob
