Folks,
Thanks to all 23 who joined us last time.
I followed up on last week's use of the spot healing brush in Adobe
Photoshop Elements with a demonstration on how it can be used to restore old
photos. Many old photographs have creases, stains and other scars. Most or
all of them can be removed digitally after they have been scanned.
In my samples, I chose to keep most of the defects except for the ones that
obscured the face of the subject.

We talked about the club's email list. It is a way of easily adding new
members to our communications without having to inform EVERONE of the new
member's email address. It provides very good protection against spam.
IF you choose to send an email to the entire club, send it to
PCUGMI@yahoogroups.com
This is a very good way for folks to share ideas and seek information. But
keep in mind, if you click "reply" to a more personal message, you may send
your personal reply to everyone in our club.
We will not meet next week because the library has a conflict. We
considered other options (my thanks to Marilyn for her efforts.) And then
I got an invitation to visit long time friends, so I will be out of town. I
hope to return with many good digital images and video.
See you on the 23rd.
Cheers,
Rob
