Linux is an UNIX like operating system that was initially created at
the University of Helsinki in Finland. First version of the Linux
Kernal 0.02 was realesed in 1991 then in 1994 version 1.0 of the Linux
Kernel was released.
The kernel is developed and released under the GNU General Public
License and its source code is freely available. This group is created
to help users who want to use Linux as an alternate operating system.
