The following is from a recent email from Michael Persinger that he has allowed me to share with you.

"The university has still prevented our access to the animal facility thus denying us use of our rats, equipment, and research labs. Twenty of my graduate and
undergraduate students are suing the university for $30 million dollars; the
students, led by a very bright young scientist, Linda St-Pierre, are defending
their own case because no lawyer will help them. Several of my arbitrations
are going before the Labour Panel the last week of August. And, if that is
not enough the College of Psychologists have now entered the classroom and have
begun dictating what can be said and how it must be said. I just returned
from a total of 5 days in June in Toronto at this hearing. The total is now 10
days. Dozens of my pervious and present students attended to testify that
they support the scientific method and my style of lecturing. The next 5 days
is in November and that is when the experts from academic freedom groups will
be called as witnesses."
