I take exception to the assertion that this forum is dying. This forum has been here for years and will continue to be here for years. It may not be as active as other sites, but less than beehive level activity does not equate death.
There are at least four other forums that have differing levels of activity. Having run some of these forums since 2001, I can tell you that they wane and go into near hysterical frenzies in rhythmic patterns over the months and years.
Also, psychical research does not equate to New Age. I would balk at anyone telling me that it is associated with it automatically. Research, I would argue, depends on the adherence to the scientific method and the level of intellectual honesty. That goes on. Any topic, psychic or not, that has applied scientific rigor, is worthy of peer review.
Let's see if we get some comments (constructive, please) about this.
Sincerely,
Mike Wilson

This forum is dying. It is unbelievable how people nowadays have so little
to say each other about parapsychology taken seriously.
The skeptics have a strong forum in their JREF forum. I have written there
about the Rosenheim poltergeist case. But I wonder: are there somewhere
other common serious forums to discuss parapsychology?
Naturally there are forums discussing "psychical research", but that is pure
New Age.
