SkinTW! + Zlaunchner + DateBk5 may causes crashes?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #49 of 632 |
Hi,

i use licensed SkinTW! running on my Zodiac 2 with some 59 MB of free
main memory (out of 124 MB).

By default i use(d) ZLauncher as standard launcher, with dia skin
open and SkinTW with extended keyboard support, together with a Velo
keyboard skin. (Great thing!)

If i switch from ZLauncher to DateBk5 (also with dia skin open and
also with extended keyboard visible), then back to zlauncher, then
again back zo dateBk5, i can do this about 6 times, then zodiac
crashes and has to have a soft reset.

Alternatively i tried to use some other applications, but the results
were the same.

It makes a difference, to close dia skin on ZLauchner. If it is
closed, no crash happens for 25 switches (more i didn't want to
try...)

If i use Standard Zodiac Launcher (which allways closes dia area and
doen't enable to open it - you also cannot switch from landscape to
portrait) it also works well.

Any experiences out there with these software addons?
I guess, it could be ZLauncher making this trouble.

I now use standard launcher and don't use ZLauncher on my Zodiac
until i have more knowledge or another ZLauncher-Version.

Regards
Christian
