Over the years since this group was started, on October 13, 2005, Palm has abandoned the TX and Palm itself has sunk below the horizon as it was absorbed into HP.

There are still spirited and helpful discussions but it seems now we are much more broadly focussed than the name might imply. We still have a core of Palm fans and experts who can help those who want to use their TX's for a long time to come. We also welcome those who have moved on to iPod Touch, iPhone, Blackberry, dozens of Android phones and of course the Palm Pre, Pixi and their successors. Discussions of the merits and issues of each are entirely in order, as long as we can keep it friendly.

We invite you to join us for lively and friendly discussions. All that is required is a determination to be helpful and keep away from disrespectful personal comments. My old philosophy teacher used to say that the second best way to lose friends was to tell them what to do. The best way - tell them what NOT to do!

Who knows what direction this group will move next, but with thousands of members it should be interesting!
