Passiflora.Images is not intended to be a discussion group but to enhance the already existing Passiflora-L discussion group by providing a way for people to reference Passiflora related images via email. The idea is that only people with the means for and interest in receiving images will subscribe and Passiflora-L will become text only as courtesy to the rest of the group. Discussions involving the images should take place on Passiflora-L that way we can keep the group unified and if someone is not interested receiving images on a regular basis but is interested in a particular one being discussed they can access it via an archive which hopefully will follow the inception of Passiflora.Images. For now there will be no limitation on image size but please keep it within reason. I don't know a lot about computer imaging but I do know that a 25KB .jpg can make for a nice picture that will do for most purposes on the other hand it may be necessary to post a very large image with clearer detail but just remember 10 times the size equals that much more download time. Please limit the number of images per post to two or three meaning if you have more then that do multiple posts.
