2. Least favorite day
Halloween is my least favorite day.
I will NOT be sending out a "Halloween Newsletter"
Most of the Halloween customs come from pagan religions and the occult.
As a young person I dabbled with the occult
and was on occassions tormented by demons.
Before I was a Christian I was functional as far as working paying bills and visiting my family but yet everything seemed like a blur in my memory. So I know the dangers of even experimenting with and dabbling with the darker things.
When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour,
I was set free from those demonic torments,
and reality became more clear.
For another powerful testimony of a person whose family was into hardcore witchcraft visit this link about Halloween and the Occult (a true story)!

Angels Watching Over Me
by Rosalee Knox
It has been strange that for the last couple weeks I have heard the Beatitudes at church and on TV. The one that I can relate to the most is
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."
September 23, 1972 was the most devastating day of my life. It was the day my third child was born and died. Her name was Beth Ann. She was born 3 months early and only lived for about an hour. I never held her or kissed her. For two years I mourn for her. My arms ached to hold her. I could not look at a baby without crying. I talked to God every day and told Him. "If I could have just held her."
Then one night it happened. I don't know if it was a dream or an out of the body experience. I heard a child crying and I got out of bed. I looked around and saw myself sleeping. Then crouched in a corner of our bedroom there was a little girl about two years old. She had dark hair and she looked like a little pixie. She had on a glowing white dress and white sandals. She lifted her arms up for me to pick her up. I held her and kissed her.
I walked passed my daughters' room. I saw two angels. One standing at the head of their bunk bed and the other at the foot. Each angel held a two edged sword in his hand. They smiled at me.
When I got to the living room, it was filled with a glowing white light that radiated from the ten or twelve angels that were waiting there. They surrounded me and I gave one of them my little girl and I when back to bed.
When I woke up, everything was different. Now I have a memory that I can cherish. That my Father in heaven heard my heart's cry and answered and healed my broken heart. I also realized that God's angels are always with my other two precious daughters.
That's why I can sing "Angels are WATCHING over me!"
