Greetings Everyone,

I trust this email finds everyone well and enjoying the spring. It is also
time to put together the summer newsletter. Please send me any news about
publications, conferences, exhibits, tours, etc. that you think would be
interesting to us fiber folks for the up-coming newsletter. Also, I highly
encourage anyone interested to submit a short description of their current
research for the newsletter. I feel that given our wide range of interests
and geographical foci that it is important to share your ideas. Please send
any information to me via email at capappas@... or via mail to the
address below.

As a quick aside, it was brought up at the recent FPIG Business Meeting in
Austin that not all FPIG members have been receiving their newsletter. If
you are a registared member of SAA and have paid your FPIG dues for this
year but have not received a newsletter, please email me and let me know. I
will contact SAA to remedy this problem.
