For the 1999 finds in B.C. (find site just over the border from the Yukon) see:
Beattie, Owen et al. 2000. The Kwaday Dan Ts'inchi Discovery from a Glacier
in British Columbia. Canadian Journal of Archaeology Vol.24. pp.??
I analyzed the basketry hat (found with Kwaday Dan Ts'inchi, the "ice man")
and wrote a report for the Champaigne-Aishihik First Nations --- sorry, I
can't provide copies. But: I plan to publish the data... one of these days
and I will let you all know when I do.
I also analyzed another archaeological basketry hat found in NW B.C.; it's
similar to but not as old as the ice-patch one and maybe not from a glacier
(it was found on a river sandbar albeit in a region with glaciers). That
second hat will likely be described in the same yet-unwritten-article; but I
did publish a popular piece (with pic): "A Report on a Waterlooged Discovery"
by Kathryn Bernick. 2001. Discovery (Royal British Columbia Museum,
Victoria): Vol.29, No.3, p.5.
"Discovery" also published a few articles about other aspects of the Kwaday
Dan Ts'inchi finds (by various of the many authors in the above-cited 2000
article). Discovery isn't published anymore (it used to be the newsletter of
the Friends of the RBCM).
