Yes, there is a plan for that.
It should be possible in the next version or the one after that

PS: As many of you may have noted, this group is put under moderation - ie mails from new members do not get posted immediately but only if I have manually approved the post (at the end of the day). This is made in order to avoid spam and viral mails diffusion.
