There is currently no doc for PolyNote (is there any volunteer? :D).
For autobullet, you should have received recently a mail I anwsered someone else on this topic.

Hmm, this table thing is not very usable for the moment, I have to admit.
The reason why the button does not bring up directly the New Column Detail dialog is because that this button allow you later do few other thing: hide column, show column,...

If you find that the lines are smooth enough, forget this feature (I'd bet you are using a recent device).
This feature is most useful for old devices with low processing power, on which the lines are often fragmented.

Hmm, this is in the to do list, but will not be possible in any near future.
