the neighborhood, lol, but I still love giving presents out to my friends and

Tomorrow is the new year! PKR's survived through another year on like two staff
members (somehow) @_@ But we are in desperate need of help! Translators,
editors, and scanners/cleaners would be awesome!

If ya'll have a project ya really wanna see us continue, please find us at least
the RAWs for it! That's the biggest chunk of work, and I just don't have time
for it right now D:

in more positive news though...We have chapter 117 up~ So we finished through
the current RAWs of Arata, enjoy the last chapter of volume 12~

No new chapter yet (though I just sent off the script to the editor), but I
decided to clean up the page a bit to make it reflect the published books more
than the zasshi we were initially translating it out of. So with that, there are
some changes to the page~

If you've noticed, I now have them under their correct volumes, lol. We have
most of volume 2 done, even. Not much more to go on that series, so we're
working on finishing that up while we work on getting the next set of Arata
RAWs.

I reuploaded all of the chapters, but not alot had major changes to it. Chapter
5 of volume 1 now includes cover, atogaki (untranslated), and then the 4 koma
omake (translated and edited, just did it in a hurry all myself) for the
completed book. So if you're interested, you might wanna get it again.

Also, the side story that was between chapter 8 and 9 is now zipped together
with chapter 8. It's not in the books that I see, but neither is the special
that we included in chapter 7. They were published in Dengeki MaOh though (which
is where I was originally working from), so I'm leaving them up and just
including them with the closest chapter.

Wee, just got back from a day in Chicago with friends to find a new chapter~ But
apparently, I forgot to translate pages like 26 and 27 so I just did a quickie
translate/edit job myself, so I apologize about the random different editing in
the middle, lol XD

Chapter 13 of Star Ocean 2nd Evolution is up~!

I also went and finally finished up the MiXiM11 sorting, so the project is no
longer under the drop list, but rather under the page for completed projects.
So, don't worry, it's still there, just got moved~

Lol, these chapters always seem to come in right when I should be on my way out
for work. But here's the next chapter of Star Ocean <3

We should be finishing this series within the month, yay <3

Surprise! a New Arata chapter <3 I'm still gonna try and finish up SO2 with it,
since we are so close to finishing it, haha.  Great Spid gave us some more RAWs
again, cause she's awesome like that <3 She's missing 119, but luckily, I have
both the book and the Shounen Sunday it's in, so I'll see if I can manage to
scan it in sometime this week.  I keep working late cause I teach right after my
first job, so it can be hard to find time ^^;

Just before I run off to work, here's the next chapter of SO 2nd Evolution~!
With this, we just have two more chapters left before we have another completed
project, and one less thing to worry about, lol.

I'm going to try and translate SO and Arata together these next couple weeks, at
least until we run out of RAWs for Arata again.  I'll need to scan in chp 119
myself though, so prolly later this week.

Here's the next chapter of Arata~! As mentioned, we had a gap in RAWs at this
chapter, so I managed to squeeze in time to scan them myself, and Makubex was
nice enough to do the cleaning on them, too <3  They are from the zasshi as
opposed to the Tankouban, which means in general the print quality is lower, but
we aren't doing this to replace the real thing, anyways, lol.  (and as it is,
GreatSpid scans from the zasshi for us, too).

Also, it was brought to my attention that there was a page glitch in chapter 7. 
I basically just reedited the page, but it should be fine now. If ya'll ever

Okay, I figure while I'm waiting to get the two chapters of translations I sent
to Makubex back, I might as well make this a separate post.

First off, like always, we could use more staff, especially someone to help us
provide for RAWs. If you have a scanner, and can spare like $5-10 to purchase
(or already own) a manga series we need RAWs for, please let us know!  I can
provide you with links to buy some of these manga, too (or if you live in the
Chicago-land area, the name of the bookstore I order stuff through).  I own most
of the titles we scanlate myself, however I am sorely pressed for time and it's
either scan stuff in, or translate it ^^;  The RAWs in specific I'm looking for
right now are for the series "Tozasareta Nergal" which finished at 7 volumes,
and then "Artist Acro" which finished at 9 volumes.  I would love to finish up
some of these projects though, so they aren't on standing as is.

Next off, the website needs to be renewed in like two weeks.  It's not bad for
the space and all that, but it's $100 a year to renew it. Thus, any donation, no
matter how small, is much appreciated! PKR, as most scanlation sites are, is
entirely based on volunteer basis, and I fund most of the stuff out of my own
pocket. I can barely afford it, even with three jobs (which is why I have
limited time to translate, even). So, if you could please donate any amount to
us at SanzakiKojika@... via Paypal to help us cover this expense, you'll
have our deepest gratitude <3

As always, PKR appreciates all the support you've given us.  Somehow, our small
little group has managed to complete several projects and stay around since

Here's the next chapter in Arata!

Well, since we had some downtime between the Arata RAWs, and were given RAWs by
Kan-chan for Cerberus, I decided we would give it a whack~ I started back from
the beginning, even though I know some are already scanlated, but it's easier
for me to get into the story and the terminology when I start with the story,
haha.

Arata will still be our priority, but I figure I can try to work this as a side
project for the time being. We only have four volumes of RAWs so far, so not too
bad.
