Has anyone ever thought of putting a Sony Night shot IR cam or a tape recorder f in the room to see if they can capture a apparition or EVP's?

They use this kind of gear in ghost hunting, so why not use them in a manteum. My guess is that they have been used. Please let me know what your experience is...
