to me.  I am conducting a 5 year international survey

me her survey from Romania.  Is the name Ovidiu common
in your country?

As for building a booth - it is simple. Any dark room
with a mirror will do.  Just make sure you cannot see

As far as I can tell, psychomanteum use is a form of scrying. This
would imply that successful "seeing" would be more dependent upon
the individual than upon the equipment being used. I am interested
to know if there is any current theory as to how entering a
hypnogogic state would enable one to perceive spirits. Is there a
Jungian explanation for this, such as the "collective
unconsciousness"? I have never used a psychomanteum, and have never
attempted scrying, but I can upon occasion enter a hypnogic state
during meditation. In this state, random disconnected dream images
arise to my awareness without any effort or intention on my part. I
assume that these images can become more connected and "meaningful"
if one enters this state frequently enough. At least this is what I
have read in books that instruct you in scrying. But what is the
theory of reality that explains how entering a dream-state while
awake would enable one to obtain useful information? I suppose the
same theory would apply to psychic perceptions in general, except
that ESP does not necessarily have to include "perception of
spirits" as one of its aspects. The reason that meditation is so
widely reported as a means of enlightenment might be for the same
reason that persons using psychomanteums experience visions. I
suppose the "eureka experience" would also fall into the same
category. But what theory would explain all this?

Yes.  At the U.Nevada.  There were numerous anomolies
caught on video and instrumentation.   Some of the
results were published by the SPR in 1995, but most
remain private.

I've been in the closet for years - have not gone
public to protect my professional credibility. (-;  I
used to teach Raymond Moody's trainings, but then began
  teaching at major research centers only for almost 10
years).  I'm writing another book but will not include
the oracle in it either.  maybe one day, but it won't
be this one!

Hello. When I was a child, I was apparently an unwitting test
subject in using a Klini. I and my sister were taken to a room by a
kind man, and told to feel free to look around, and to even sit
in "the chair" if we liked. We were then left alone. Within a few
minutes, we were trying out "the chair", which looked like a lounge
chair, with the backrest tilted at about a 45 degree angle. I sat in
the chair, and closed my eyes. Immediately I began to feel this
sense of "falling". It made me feel uneasy, so I got up out of the
chair. My sister tried sitting in the chair, and had the same
reaction to it as I had. I now realise the similarity of the chair
with the accounts I have read about the Klini. It seems odd to me
that folks don't get the same sort of sensations from sitting in
poolside lounge chairs. Perhaps folks naturally avoid setting the
chairs at the 45 degree angle?

my advice is to not get hung up with the "things" of
the booth - meausurements of mirror and the material
aspects.  just faciliate from your heart and it will
work fine.

much has changed since Raymond's book REUNIONS.  so the
accounts may be of help but not the way it his was set
up.  i did all the trainings with him before i left to
go to different research centers throughout the world.
it is a totally different process now.  we no longer
provide meals or spend the day.  it is extremely simple
now - very streamlined.

I have tried the psychomanteum that I built about 10 times so far,but

Can anyone tell me of their experiences of late,when they did their
experiments.
Also,has anyone ever tried to setup a video camera in the booth,to
see if the visions/images etc are possibly objective sometimes for
video pickup.I realise that this may be a nutsy type of
suggestion,but the parameters seem to be fairly wide open in this
type of phenomena.I read Dr Moody`s book and noticed<from memory>
that their were group results/tactile results etc which indicated
that the phenomena might be recordable sometimes.
