You can download a copy of the Astronomical League's Binocular Messier Club
from the AAAA website. That, your pair of binoculars, and a good star chart
are about all you really need.

There is even a form included in the PDF which you can print and use to log
your observations. Print several copies, fill them out as you go, and keep
them in a loose leaf binder as a record of your progress. And when you are
done, you can easily make extra copies to turn in for your Binocular
Messier
Pin from the Astronomical League.
Be sure to take a look at the other observing programs we offer on the AAAA
website.

I don't have one, you might check the Library, they have a couple of books
that cover several of these.

Subject: [MSRAL] MESSIER BINOCULAR HANDBOOK
I am a very new member, who is planning on going to the Star Party on
Saturday. Anyone know how I can get a Messier Binocular Handbook before
then... Maybe someone could bring one out to the party and look for the
person that looks lost. Thanks Mike
