Either wireless or hard wire will work fine.. Printing does not require anywhere
near the speed that other things do. I use a combination of both here.. My
studio is about 75 feet from my house.. so I'm wireless from the house to the
studio.. Both the house and the studio use wired system also.. Most of my
printers are wired to the network but I have 2 printers set up using a bridge..(
that less costly then buying Epson network server cards) so everything goes to
them wireless. I just read what I wrote ,,, maybe not making a lot of sense..
sorry.. Anyway design your system the way you'd like to do it.. file size is
not an issue..

I use my MacPro for print to an Epson 7800 at 10 meters with the
Airport Express atached. It's 802.11n, a fast Wi-Fi. But if I would
have the printer near me, I wouldprefer the infallible Ethernet...

You can use QTR on an ethernet in several ways. If the printer or print server has a fixed IP address you can just enter the IP number during the install...
