Hi,
I'm a LiveStage Pro novice (one of the few left, it seems) and in need of help.
I couldn't find
an answer at Totally Hip's StageDoor.
I have a QTVR panorama with a large hotspot (basically the stage in a small
auditorium). I
want the user to be able to click on/in the hotspot to cause PNG images (of
traditional
dancers and audience members participating) to appear in the screen. Ideally
there would
be an automated rotation through 11 pictures. However, I have yet to get a
single image to
appear properly.
The lamentably best I've been able to do is create a white sprite centered
permanently
inside the QT window; the sprite contains the 11 images. When previewed, I get
just a
white box, but when I move through the panorama, nothing appears inside the
white
sprint. At least, nothing until the sprite passes over a certain location where
the sprite's
first image appears, slightly curved as if it were part of the QTVR track
itself.
My guess--sorry, the best I can offer now--is: The sprite images' reference
points are all
set to 20,20, which seems to refer to the top left corner of the QTVR track's
equirectangular graphic file. So when the white sprite passes over that point,
the sprite's
first image appears inside the sprite, only smaller and moving in sync (inside
the sprite
"window") with the QTVR viewing angle.
Your input is very welcome!
