Hey gals/guys:
I got a new JVC Video Camera, Everio GZ-HD7u. I have downloaded the video to
the
computer, but the extensions are .MOI and .TOD and one that is .PGI. According
to the
manual, the video files are given .TOD extensions and are recorded in MPEG2
format. I
have Quicktime Player version 7.4 and the software that came with it is
"Quicktime
component for Everio" which I have installed. I am using USB for connecting the
camera to
the Mac.
I called JVC and all they can do is to get my files from the camera to the
computer. Which
I have done. They do not get into the different software to use for the video.
When I click on one of the movies with the TOD extension, I get an error message
from
Quicktime saying "The movie could not be opened. The movie contains an
incorrect
duration."
Anyone can help shed some light as to how I can view these videos I have taken?
Do I
need another program like Quicktime Pro 7? Or Final Cut which is quite
expensive?
Thanks for your help,
Azim
