VLC? Is that available on versiontracker?

Yeah, I've got the latest QT installed but I'm hearing that may be the
problem so I may need to downgrade to an older version.

I've got the problem with multiple movies, but I have some movies that play
just fine.

This usually happens when you are missing a video codec. If you check the movie info, it will tell you what video and audio codec the movie uses. If you search...

That is strange! You do have the latest version of QuickTime isntalled? Can you try opening it in a program like VLC? (It has it's own codecs). This may allow...

Yep, the file opens through VLC, both picture and sound, but still only opens up as an audio file when opening it with QT. So I'm gonna try downgrading... ......
