Re: [R1b1c_U106-S21] Re: Question about Gunter results.
I am going to test my L48 marker on Monday and send my request to FTDNA, is there another test that I should be testing first, I only have my 25, deep clad and verification by EA on S21, any suggestions?
Thanks,
Shawn

Thanks Janet...that seems to be the one. I'll add this info into the sheet and post when I upload it to the files section here. I guess you haven't tested for L44 or the other advanced SNP's at this point?

Has the person with the Gunter results ever made public their SNP's? I am trying to keep a current census of SNP results for the folks who have tested positive...
Tim, If you ever have any different results from your census than what I am showing on the B9 spreadsheet with regard to the "L47 Possibles" Group, and the...
The L47 count just climbed to 17 as I have been advised that 39187 Harris, ultimately evidently descended via Ireland from a Woods in England, is L47+, but...
Thanks for posting this. I guess Harris hasn't tested for L44? How did you derive the figure of 2100 years? Did you run the STR's through a comparison? Cheers,...
It may be that the L44 test is still pending. google "McGee utility" for the primary STR comparison tool out there, which accomplishes multiple purposes....
Right..I'm familiar with the utility and use it for other projects that I admin. I was wondering if you had used it to produce the time period. Thanks Charles!...
Sorry, I got interrupted, which is why that note wasn't finished. Dean McGee's tool does a lot of things well, but estimating the time that a Haplogroup...
Interesting. Just used this utility to run the information from the I2b2 project that I admin. Gave me a corrected age in years without multicopy markers of...
Dear Charles, I think that this is a good summary of the current status of things. It is possible that the newest version of my interclade TMRCA program is...
Timothy, I believe you might be talking about my Gunter family test? SNP and L47. SNP L1- L47+ L48+ L49+ P107- P312- U106+ U198- I admit am a bit confused as...

Janet: Assuming that your Gunter family is ID 39402, I have moved that result from the L47 Possibles Group to the L47 Group on my spreadsheet. If you look at...
My Gunter from Middlesex Co, VA Ysearch Q2TSS ... I have Howard test RVG5A in this U106 project with Paul but with no SNP test yet. Yes, there is another...
Hi Janet, That is quite a coincidence. You have the Howard in my YCAIIb=21 subgroup, but not the Gunter. But you also have a Gunter who is L48+? Paul roche ...
The table showing all members' STR marker results are found at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/U106/default.aspx?section=yresults The SNP test results are...

Hi Shawn. I'm a new guy here but I think I'm safe in suggesting that you wait until you get your L48 result before you think about the next test. That's what I...
