The RCA DRS7000N and DRC7005N PVR/DVD were introduced with, essentially, beta level firmware. RCA seems not to be continuing this line of products in the US. So the owners are largely on their own. This group is for them to provide mutual support.

European versions of the DRS7000N are the Thomson DTH7000E (NTSC&PAL) and DTH7000U (PAL). There are new European models, DTH7500E and DTH7500U, apparent follow-ons to the DTH7000E and DTH7000U. They look completely different than the previous four (See: Photos/Models).

RCA has come out with the DRC8000N, a similar PVR which records on DVD, not a hard drive. Thomson also has the DTH8000E and DTH8000U

All nine models have a free TV listing (GUIDE Plus+ in the US/Canada and NaviClick in Europe/UK). They may all be discussed in the RCA-PVR Group.
