Re: [REBT-CBT-FORUM] Googling myself

Wed 15 Nov 06, 8:30 a.m.

Hi Vicky,

Thanks for posting this. It lends an important perspective to the
discussion.

Quite frankly, this caught me off guard. I have owned a yahoo group
since 1998 and started a couple more recently as well as a few forums.
Just from googling around, I am well aware that forum discussions show
up in the search engines. However, I don't recall ever seeing anything
from a yahoo group. Mind you I haven't been looking, but always
functioned under the assumption that one of the drawbacks of a yahoo
group (from a promotional standpoint) was that the posts do not show up
in google as do forum posts. Obviously there is some kind of
information gap I am dealing with here, and I am eager to get up to
speed with the real story on this.

Aloha,

Rex
