Hi all.

I've got an IBM Thinkpad T42 laptop with an infrared port on it. I also own
a Clie T665c. I'd like to be able to control the volume on my computer or
bind certain keys to macros to play music or something. Has anyone gotten
something like this to work? I'd be willing to buy a generic remote if my
T665c wouldn't do anything.

The infrared port is IrDA on the laptop, which is different from RMC's infrared signals. In theory you can program lirc with irrecord to approximate the ...
