The pointed white gene is recessive to the shaded gene but the silver marten can carry the shaded gene cause a silver marten carrys the (cchd) chin gene and the shaded gene(cchl) can hide behind the chin gene (cchd) cause it is recessive to the chin gene (cchd)
Two Pointed whites can never produce a shaded or chin offspring
but two shaded rabbits can produce a pointed white.
