The Sun celebrated the 4th of July, Day of United States Independence in 1776, with some Radio and X-ray fireworks.

In the USA, it is customary to celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks.

I attended the ones in the small town of Orofino Idaho, on the Clearwater River. I have been camping in the area.

I attach part of a STEREO WAVES spectrum showing at least half a dozen bursts in the 16 Mhz to 50 Khz band, 0100-0500 UT.

Did they reach 20 Mhz ???

Many thanks to the STEREO WAVES Team:

On July 5, there was a C2.7 flare in active region 1024 near S26W01:

I attach an image.

Many thanks to the Lockheed Martin Solar Astrophysics Laboratory.
