I have followed the instructions of "flm_flm" (message #389) of this
group. The instructions are accurate and have allowed me to install
version 2_15 and have also eliminated the "Expiration" problem.
When I go to import a Handy Shopper file from the PDA I get these
messages:
"hs2convert failed to run error code 1"
I click "ok" then:
"File UnitsDefaults.tps could not be opened. Error: Invalid Record
Declaration [47]"
I click "ok" then there is a "Halt" message that closes the program.
looks like there are some program errors that need to be fixed to get
this out for Beta testing.
Replace the hs2convert.exe file in the Rat Shopper directory with the
latest one in the hs2-7904.zip file, available from the handyshopper
group.

So...
I actually had hs2-7908 (an even newer version than the one you
suggested "hs2-7904". So- I downloaded 7904 and backdated the file
to a previous file.
I still received this message: "File UnitsDefaults.tps could not be
opened. Error: Invalid Record Declaration [47]"
I click "ok" then there is a "Halt" message that closes the program.
What am I missing here? Are there people actually using this
program? Does it actually work?

Delete UnitsDefaults.tps and reinstall the program using option repair

I deleted UnitsDefaults.tps and reinstalled the program (Version 10
full- which I believe is the only one with UnitsDefaults) and I used
teh repair option.
I get the exact same message:
Error: Invalid Record Declaration [47]"
I click "ok" then there is a "Halt" message that closes the program.
Does my version of Windows matter? Is there something else that I am
missing here? Why can't I get this to work?
Thanks-
Logan
