Hello,
I'm having an export issue. Hopefully it can be solved simply, as I
believe I'm likely just missing something obvious in the settings.
I have a scene with a fully textured posed model (no animations), and
several RawKee-created elements: four spot lights, one camera, one
navinfo node, and one cube (acting as a ground).
After export, the scene opens to show my model with no textures. I'm
unclear on which settings do/don't need to be checked/unchecked while
exporting, so I leave most items at default. You'll find a screenshot
at the following url that shows my setup just before exporting:
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1267/1076135319_e7f4f26510_o.jpg
First off, let me explain that the character has been pixelated in
Photoshop to protect it from public viewing, as it's not yet been
released.
Secondly, there are two yellow arrows that designate my question areas.
Arrow #1:
I've been told this "H-Anim - Level 1" box should be checked. Does it
need to be checked for what I'm trying to do? Frankly, I'm not sure
which ones should be checked, in general, as I'm unclear on what
exactly they mean.
Arrow #2:
This automatically is pointed at the images folder in Maya. However,
my texture image is in the sourceimages folder. I believe this is why
no textures appeared the first time, as I didn't change it from the
default "images/" setting. Now, I should be able to simply designate
where my personal textures live by typing in "sourceimages/", correct?
I *should* know if this works or not, and *would* except for the fact
that since my first export today (where my model came out untextured),
RawKee keeps crashing Maya every time I try a new export. :(
Anyhow, thanks in advance for any assistance.
