Welcome to the PCP Theory and Repertory Grid Interview User Group. If you are interested in George Kelly’s (Photo) Personal Construct Theory and how to apply it in the real world, as realised in the Repertory Grid Interview, then here is where you can meet and discuss issues with others who are doing the same.
We welcome academic discussion related to Personal Construct Psychology and hope that those from the PCP list who join here will find that this group meets their needs.
For those uncertain about what the Rep Grid interview is about here is a brief summary. It develops and clarifies your thoughts and perceptions. It challenges your knowledge, feelings, and judgements in any area of your experience. It can be used for personal explorations or as a tool to help others explore and reveal their experience. There are as many potential uses as there are purposes for which people would want to develop their cognitive maps - to grow them, challenge them, share them, experiment with them, reflect on them.
There are a number of different ways to implement the Repertory Grid interview and discussion on these is welcome here. If you are seeking advice about a current project, it's useful to state the purpose (Ref:- http://www.enquirewithin.co.nz/interview_purpose.htm), the subject-matter and the number of interviews you plan.
Anyone interested is welcome to join the group. I will be monitoring messages posted to the group to ensure that they are related to the subject.
