Hello Group,
I'm involved in a project which intends to use
Repertory Grid to examine trainer/ assessor and
trainee representations of the training tasks. In
addition we are interested in both the practical
training and cultural issues that may occur through a
change in assessment methodology - a switch from
hurdle (fairly informally assessed) to competency
based assessment. We intend to use grid in a pre and
post change design with two seperate cohort groups.
I've had a look at the literature for previous studies
that have used grids in a similar way, but haven't
been particularly satisfied with what I've found. Much
of it maps changes of construal in clinician's
construal of particular diagnoses or methods of
treatment.
I understand that its a bit like asking for papers
written on how researchers employed one-to-one
interviews for qualitative data gathering, but can
anyone suggest some well regarded papers based on
industrial/ organisational examples?
Cheers,
Julian.
