Hi Group Members
An example of a very simple application of repertory grid which shows
Enquire Within used as training support software as part of a
distance learning program, training course or as personal or self
learning to explore knowledge and perceptions is at a new web page at
<http://www.enquirewithin.co.nz/exploring_knowledge.htm>.
This example assumes you wish to test and extend your knowledge of
characters in literature and goes beyond collection and memorising
facts. It goes up a level into analysis and developing a frame of
reference for judging the subject matter. Becoming aware of one's
frame of reference along with developing and testing it is a major
feature of this application of grid and is an important skill for
learning. One of the most significant tasks for education
professionals, rather than teach the knowledge of facts or procedures
is to develop in their pupils the skills of learning-to-learn,
navigation, and intuition.
You may wish to go to the web page at
<http://www.enquirewithin.co.nz/organizational_culture.htm> to see
how this might be achieved.
The example provides a number of suggestions about how the process
can be used in teaching.
Best wishes
John
PS If it is not a subject that interests you directly you may wish to
forward this on to a collegue. J
