How do I elicit patients constructs vis a vis their outlook of life
with chronic physical complaints like Diabetes, asthma etc.

Maybe you could use the physical complaints as elements to elicit the constructs,,,,,,,,,,, I would use dyadic elicitation and ask patients to pick any two...
