Dear Research_Practice Friends,
I understand that many of you are writing books or are involved in
publications which might be worth reviewing in JRP. I think, we
should share such information, along with a brief summary of the
work in the Research_Practice forum. Some of us can then volunteer
to read your work and write a review for JRP.
To start this process, I would like to announce the publication of
the following book:
Creative Social Research : Rethinking Theories and Methods
Editor: Ananta K Giri [Member of JRP editorial team]
ISBN:0739107836 (Hard cover book)
Publisher: Lexington Books, Published 2004/09
From Amazon:
"Creative Social Research calls for a fundamental
reconceptualization and transformation of contemporary research
methods in the social sciences. Leading scholars from a variety of
disciplines establish the ways in which the traditions of non-
Western societies and contemporary global developments can be
incorporated into current social science discourse, greatly
enriching it beyond most of the existing paradigms and approaches."
One of my articles is included in the book; it is titled: 'Second-
order creativity in research'
Dr. Giri had delivered a seminar on the theme of this book, which
has been reported here:

Anyone interested in writing a review for JRP?
