Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the entire team involved in the
development of the 'Journal of Research Practice'
(JRP), I sincerely thank you and your
institutions/organisations for expressing an interest
in supporting this journal's open access publication.
This has now become truly an independent and global
academic initiative. It is befitting JRP that a global
consortium of academic/research institutions will
support this Journal's electronic open access
publication. I have no doubt that the open access JRP
would come as a boon to researchers and reflective
practitioners worldwide, working in various academic
disciplines and professional fields, more so
especially in the low-income regions of the world.
Our plan is to admit other suitable research-oriented
institutions/organisations to join the consortium, so
that the contribution amount can be reduced for each
member of the consortium in future. Therefore, we
shall continue to carry the following announcement on
the Web: http://www.ximb.ac.in/~dpdash/JRP_Support.htm
I am happy to announce that a mechanism has been put
in place to collect the contributions from each
consortium member and make the necessary payments from
one account. I share the details below:
Payment Details: All contributions should be
accompanied with a covering letter addressed to the
Editor stating that a contribution is being made to
support the Journal of Research Practice (JRP). The
amount should be payable to 'Future Focus Initiative,
Account: JRP'. This account is with UTI Bank, India
(http://www.utibank.com), bearing account number 032
010 100 337 311.
['Future Focus Initiative' is a non-profit Trust
registered in India, to promote the cause of
future-relevant education, nationally and globally. It
has been created under the aegis of 'Future Focus
Foundation'
I hope, this arrangement will be acceptable to you.
Looking forward to your continued support,
Yours sincerely,
DP
