Rocky Mountain Fungi is dedicated to mushrooms and mushrooming throughout the Rocky Mountain region – from New Mexico to Canada including (but not limited to) New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Montana. And we always welcome our friends north of the border to join in the discussion.

We want to hear about what kinds of mushrooms you are finding. Include information about the habitat and elevation, a description of your mushroom, the time of year you found it, recent weather conditions, and any photos you have. Also, our forum is the place to let others know about events and activities related to mushrooming happening in the Rocky Mountains. If you are new to mushrooming, this is the place to ask questions. We have many members on our forum who will be more than happy to help you. And just a note about personal attacks and socially unacceptable language – it won’t be tolerated and after the first warning you will be blocked from the forum. Let’s keep this a civil discussion.
