Dewitt County ESDA will be sponsoring a basic ground search class for SAR
personnel October 13th and 14th in Clinton IL with classroom being held at the
DeWitt County Public Safety Building (unless class size is too large) and field
training at Clinton Lake State Recreational Area, Mascoutin Access Area.

Anthony Marzzano, Will County Fire SAR Chief, will be the guest instructor.
There will be a $10.00 fee for the class which will be used to cover the
expenses for the instructor and Red Cross refreshments and assistance during the
weekend.

This class is designed to provide basic knowledge of ground search techniques
and skills.
The class is open to all persons at all skill levels. Para-professional
volunteers,
Fire/Rescue, EMS and Law Enforcement personnel and anyone who is interested in
joining the Search and Rescue Community.
