The SAR community lost a wonderful person this morning when Carolyn Knapp of
NE Missouri passed away after a log and heroic bout with cancer.

Carolyn will be greatly missed by all that knew her, be it as a searcher, a
K9 Handler (for which she was best known) or as a member of numerous groups.

She was an instructor with our group in west-central Illinois, and her
insights, and experience will be sorely missed. Carolyn was willing to help
the person with 20 years experience just as much as she was willing to help
the newbie, and was a wonderful friend, coworker, colleague, and most of all
a mentor.

Funeral services are pending and will be posted here when finalized.
