Please be advised that the 2009 Illinois Search and Rescue Conference will
be held at the Rend Lake Resort on August 22-23, 2009.

Registration information will be available on the Illinois Search and Rescue
Council's website at www.illinoissar.org in the very immediate future.

The Illinois Search and Rescue Council (started in 2008) is currently
developing statewide standards for search and rescue from basic team level,
search manager, etc. Additionally, the Council is putting on state
conferences devoted to search and rescue, the first being held last year and
the second down here in Southern Illinois).

In order for the Council to succeed, it is important that there be as many
members of the Council. Membership is agency based, not individual
persons. The membership fee for an agency is currently $50.00 per year. I
would ask that if your agency would like to become a member of the Council
to please visit the ISARC website for additional information. Please forward
this information to anyone who may be interested.
