Description

Welcome to the SBIG-SGS User's Group.

This group is a forum for users of the SBIG SGS Self-Guided Spectrograph. It was created at the kind suggestion of Dale Mais and will be hosted by Alan Holmes, Ph.D., inventor of the SGS Self-Guiding Spectrograph.

Please observe these simple rules to make use of the list more enjoyable for everyone:

1. Please use this mail list only for discussions of use of the SGS spectrograph, spectroscopy and related topics. If you wish to discuss CCD imaging or SBIG products other than the Spectrograph please join the SBIG User's Group. Information about joining the SBIG User's Group can be found at the SBIG web site: http://www.sbig.com

2. If you simply hit the "Reply" button on your e-mail program it usually includes a quote of the entire message to which you are replying. This is most disturbing to other readers when you are replying to a rather long message with a simple question or answer. Please edit the quoted text to include only the portion to which you are responding.

Thanks for joining!
