Sun Coast Organization of Practicing Anthropologists (SCOPA) is a not for profit organization that seeks to develop and promote anthropology as a profession. SCOPA seeks to develop the art and science of anthropology and promote its use for the betterment of humankind.
To further these goals, SCOPA and its members seek self-development through active support of formal and informal means of communication between members and to promote to the public the value of anthropology.
